It looks like DC Studios has an exciting new project on its hands: a Wonder Woman animated series. The head of DC Studios, James Gunn, recently confirmed on Twitter that they are working on getting the heroine to have animated projects. Gunn responded to a fan asking for a Wonder Woman animated series, saying, “Okay. We’re working on it.”
Gunn’s response sparked speculation among fans, who asked to know exactly what he meant. This is why Gunn explained that they are working to make Wonder Woman appear more in animation, since he believes that there has not been enough of her in that area.
“No, we are working on having Wonder Woman in more animation. I agree that there hasn’t been enough of her in that area and it’s one of the first things I told guys who work in animation,” Gunn said.

Recall that the heroine already had an animated movie in 2009 called Wonder Woman, which was a direct-to-DVD release. As more than a decade has passed since then, fans are eager to see it again in this format, so Gunn’s words will move more than one.
