When asked by a fan if the scoop was true, DC Studios CEO James Gunn responded by noting that it was “false,” while also confirming that have started making lists of possible actors for the film. But the actual casting process has yet to begin on the Superman: Legacy project. “False”, the filmmaker denied the information. “We haven’t started casting other than to make lists, and it’s not limited to people in their twenties.”
When will we meet the new Clark Kent actor?
When The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Clark Kent would have been around 25 years old in Superman: Legacy, James Gunn clarified that the DC Comics hero would only be “less than forty years old” and that he “could be” a little younger than Batman. In addition, the director managed to set the record straight by noting that “no one has yet been chosen for the role of the Man of Tomorrow” for the film and that the casting would take place “after the script” of the project “is finished or almost finished”.
