After three days in a coma following a very bad road accident, MMA fighter Iuri Lapicus has passed away.
Iuri was the victim of a motorcycle accident last Friday and had been transported by air ambulance to the Niguarda hospital in red code. Yesterday, Monday 20 March, the news of his death was given.
Stone he was an MMA starin his career he had played 16 professional matches winning the first 14. In 2019 he managed to enter the ONE Championship, one of the most important promotions in the world.
Little is known about the dynamics of the accident. The accident occurred in Pogliano Milanese around noon on Friday 17 March. According to the reconstructions Iuri would have lost control of his bike by falling. Unfortunately there was nothing to be done.
