The Nerazzurri market man in the stands: Mateo scored for the second match in a row, the player’s esteem is known, the goal is to bring him to Milan
Inter’s eyes do not leave Mateo Retegui. Yesterday the Tigre striker scored his second goal with the national team in as many appearances and he did it in Malta under the eyes of Dario Baccin, Giuseppe Marotta’s right hand man and who has been on the trail of the native for some time now making himself known to Italian fans after 23 years of exclusivity for the Argentine panorama. At the Ta’ Qali national stadium, always in the stands, the player’s father, Carlos, was also present.
Have we met before?

Retegui is on Inter’s wish list to reinvigorate an advanced department which from 1 July will change characteristics and the fame derived from the sudden call-up of Roberto Mancini does nothing but increase its market value and the crowd of suitors who press increasingly pressing polls. Inter is studying the next moves and the courtship of the class of 1999 is known: it is therefore logical to assume that on the Mediterranean island there was at least one greeting between Baccin and father Retegui, who have spoken to each other several times in the recent past. And that thread shouldn’t be interrupted if Inter really want to bring Italy’s new center forward to Milan.
