The Slovakian went to see his back at Cers, a medical center linked to the ownership of the French club where he will play next year
The Milanese experience of the now Inter idol Milan Skriniar fades towards the end credits in the worst way. Between health problems, which complicate the last decisive stretch, and an increasingly evident detachment from the club: the head, but now also the body, of the Slovakian defender are already in France, where the millions from Qatar will take him after 30 June. Thus, although he is still an Inter member to all intents and purposes, Skriniar has chosen to follow the suggestions of the PSG medical staff, his future team.
The detour
—
Before reaching the Slovakian meeting, on French instructions, on Monday he flew from Milan to Bordeaux and then from there to Capbreton, 150 km further south. He went to show his aching back to the Cers (Centre Européen de Rééducation du Sportif): it’s an excellent facility that opens onto the Atlantic, very popular with rugby players and more. And it has very solid ties with Parisian society, including visits to the Emir’s members and charitable initiatives. Inter was obviously aware of the visit, assisted by a member of the PSG staff and cannot be too happy about it: after all, it is the clear sign of how the Slovakian is already mentally set on next year. In addition to taking care of himself for this Nerazzurri final, his priority is obviously to show up shiny under the Eiffel Tower next season. Among other things, his acute lumboglutalgia is not trivial: the Slovakian doctors, to whom he then presented himself on Tuesday , they sent him home with a tad bit of concern and a lot of controversy. The pain is felt, even up to the leg, and Milan is now treating it with specific therapies: from Wednesday they will continue in Appiano, with personalized training sessions.
Mood
—
With the end of the season still hot and a professional relationship now winding down, it’s better not to raise any fuss: the club considered any blatant tirades against the defender useless. Certainly, the Inter staff would have appreciated another general attitude from the Slovakian in recent months, not just now: if Milan has legitimately chosen to earn more and to raise their ambitions on the pitch, their closures to a tactical renewal, which would not have ruled out its subsequent resale, they were hermetic. In Viale della Liberazione they might have appreciated a behavior similar to that of his designated heir only last summer: Gleison Bremer, expiring with Toro, had chosen to renew, also out of gratitude to the club that had launched him. So he had allowed the grenade to be sold to everyone’s satisfaction. Now, beyond the grudges and inopportune visits, Inter’s goal is to get Skriniar back on his feet for the double challenge with Benfica, which is anything but obvious: compared to the other frail Gosens, Dimarco and Bastoni, there are less certainties because nerve irritation, due to disc compression (not to be confused with damage to the intervertebral disc), does not give solid certainties on the course.
