Two hundred participants in the event organized by Open which also saw the debut of a transgender team. First places for YouSport and Milano Crew
Two hundred participants from all over Italy animated the inclusive football tournament “I’ll give you Qatar”, organized by Open Milano and hosted on the fields of Sport Promotion Comasina. A beautiful day of sun, sport, values, a day colored by the many experiences brought to the pitch: LGBTQIA+ associations, companies that promote the women’s football movement and the integration of migrants, the Acet association which for the first time put together a team of transgender athletes and athletes and thus started his football business. The Coppa Sport per tutte was won by YouSport while the Milan Tournament saw Milano Crew in first place, Padova Pride in second and Bugs Bologna in third.

Riccardo Pappalardo, president of Open Milano, is satisfied with the success of the event: “Three were the highlights of yesterday’s beautiful day: the debut of the Acet team in the Coppa Sport per Tutti, the photo at the start of the tournament with all the in celebration and the waving flags and the declaration of a transgender athlete at the end of the Cup who said with a huge smile ‘it was wonderful, I had a lot of fun’”. The Open Milano “I’ll give you Qatar” project will now develop into the “New Five” championship aimed at non-binary and transgender people and into an 11-a-side football exhibition on the occasion of the Milano Pride.
