Hunt: Showdownthe award-winning tactical PvPvE first-person shooter from Crytekreceives a new and substantial update. Update 1.12 adds two new Questlines with new rewards, brings general improvements and bug fixes and significantly accelerates the initial stages of the game, with two new tutorials aimed at newbies. Two new tutorials allow players to quickly familiarize themselves with Hunt’s gameplay. Leading new hunters through these tutorials is the veteran Hunter John Victordoppiato da Doug Cockle (The Witcher). Il Tutorial Base explains the core mechanics of Hunt, including game controls, gunplay, monsters, and more. Upon first-time completion, players will receive a Hunter Tier 1 and rewards unlocked during the tutorial. After the Basic Tutorial, players will be able to face the Advanced Tutorial, accessible at any time. In the Advanced tutorial players will have to locate, face and eliminate a Boss Target. Both tutorials are designed to allow players to quickly hone their skills before face the battle in the Bayou.
Update 1.12 adds two new Questlines: The Ward of the Reptilian (active from 29 March to 1 May 2023) and, subsequently, Vengeance of the Skinned (active after the end of the Questline). The Questlines, divided into six acts, offer hunters new activities and valuable rewards, including new variant weapons, legendary gear and more. For the first time ever, players will be able to complete missions within Questlines together, meaning all team members will contribute equally to the individual’s progress. For example, if your mission is Kill enemy huntersthe kills made by teammates will also contribute to the achievement of the personal objective.
