Hulk and The Thing will team up to face a God of the Marvel Universe
These two characters met in volume #12 of the Fantastic Four comic, from 1963, however, their rivalry was born before they both met. Nearly a year before the two characters met, The Thing had a visceral reaction upon learning of the existence of the green giant, the Hulk.
One of the main causes of the enmity between these two characters is the fact that they have opposite personalities; On the one hand, The Thing wants to be accepted and respected by everyone, while the Hulk cares little about the opinion of others, and he is happy being a total monster.
The confrontations of these two strong characters have been completely epic, as they are one of the few fights in which both characters they are practically balanced in terms of strength and power.
Despite the strong rivalry they have had for many years, Hulk and The Thing must unite in the next Marvel comicwhich will be called Clobberin’ Time, and whose first issue will go on sale today, March 29.
The aforementioned comic was written and illustrated by Steve Skroce, colored by Bryan Valenza, and written by Joe Sabino. The preview shows fans a The Thing and Bruce Banner looking bewildered at a new planet. The heroes quickly meet the small inhabitants of the planet, who are being threatened by a “Titan”.
At that moment, a giant kaiju roars, so Banner transforms into the Hulk, and along with The Thing easily manages to bring down the large and monstrous creature that threatened the inhabitants of the new planet.
Despite the fact that this is how the preview for the first issue of this upcoming Marvel comic ends, it has been revealed that in this comic both heroes will also face the powerful Celestials.
There is no doubt that this comic will be quite epic for both Hulk fans and The Thing fans, as they will be able to witness a story in which two of the franchise’s most powerful heroes, who have been great rivals, must join forces to face various creatures and entities.
