For those who have not yet been able to play it or have not seen any gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy, the popular and anti-boycott video game based on the Harry Potter saga, we tell you that the title has cats, many cats that can be found in various parts wandering around wizard school. Animals that many of us love and that can be petted in the game, but that also suffer thousands of jokes every day from thousands of players, who attack them with different spells. Attacks that have been shared in countless videos on YouTube or social networks and although there are many people who think that these are in bad taste, they are still quite funny, like this one that I leave below.
You can read: Hogwarts Legacy players ask that the game have punishments and curfews because they do not feel “like students”
Something that as expected reached the ears of the game developers, who have responded in a video originally posted on Twitterwhere they indicate that as an internal joke that will not make it to the commercial version of the game, “after seeing how some people have treated cats in the game”, they created a revenge of the cats who defended themselves against the players who attacked them.

Another situation that happens within Hogwarts Legacy and that will surely draw the attention of many players, despite the fact that many others have decided to boycott the title to avoid financially supporting JK Rowling, who has been criticized for making harmful comments about the trans community. Campaign that, as we have said, has not been successful since the game continues to sell exceptionally well and has a large player base on all platforms where it has been released.
