The Halo Infinite disaster led 343i to summon Joseph Staten, a creative who was a key player in the franchise while at Bungie and who answered the emergency call. The rugged game, despite not being the promised wonder, is in a much better state and can now go its own way, hence the hero of the IP returns to the Xbox division that he left on hold.

Joseph Staten updated his official Twitter profile confirming that his time at 343 Industries has come to an end, as well as his participation in Halo Infinite. According to the description, Staten returned to Xbox Game Studios where he handles video game publishing, a job he was put on hiatus when he was called in to help with the franchise’s latest installment.
Very proud of all the work the team has done to launch Season 3, and I’m excited as a @Halo fan to see what’s coming next. https://t.co/RFWcSP4oTu

Accompanying this update on networks, Joseph Staten sent a congratulatory message to the developers of Halo Infinite multiplayer, which just released its third season. The creative said he was proud of the work done by the team and excited for what will come next for the game.
In case you don’t know, Joseph Staten is not only considered a hero for coming back to Halo at the worst time and trying to salvage that ship, he also supported game developers who were fired because of the Microsoft cut and spent weeks to find them a new job, in fact he published on his networks that at that time he was not interested in what was next for him after leaving 343i, but rather the well-being of the workers.
