Halo Infinite got off to a strong start with the surprise release of its multiplayer mode in 2021. However, the decline began with a lack of substantial content, issues with progression, and more detail that detracted from the experience. Despite these drawbacks, 343 Industries is still at the bottom of the canyon and is already thinking about the future.
After a very long wait, Echoes Within, Season 3 of the Microsoft video game, debuted today and introduced new maps, Forge mode content, weapons and much more. With a little luck, these new features will recapture the attention of the players.

The future of Halo Infinite
As the community enjoys the new content that debuted this week, Sean Baron, head of the franchise’s live services, discussed the present and future of Halo Infinite in a recent post on the Official Xbox Blog. So, he discussed the news that came and promised more “consistency” in the coming seasons.
“We must be consistent in everything. I feel very confident where we are going with Season 3, and I have great confidence that we can still improve on that consistency and avoid the long seasons of the past altogether. We are going to be more consistent”, sentenced the member of 343 Industries.
Right away, Sean Baron assured that they will work closely with the player base to make Halo Infinite evolve for the better. So, he hinted that the studio’s focus in recent days was on launching Season 3, and then they’ll move on to what’s next. “As the Chief said, we are ready to get back to work,” he concluded.

Echoes Within, which is the biggest update to the game in a long time, introduces a new 100-tier Battle Pass that offers a ton of both free and premium cosmetic rewards. Additionally, 3 new multiplayer maps debuted: Chasm, Cliffhanger, and Oasis. A new weapon also arrived.
The debut of Season 3 comes a few weeks after it came to light that Microsoft carried out a round of layoffs that affected the developer studio.
