SuaraCianur.id The name of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) who will accompany Anies Baswedan is said to be already in his pocket.
Anies admitted that he already holds the name of the candidate for vice president, who will run alongside him in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
Most recently, Anies Baswedan also asked for help from the small team of NasDem, PKS, as well as the Democrats, to finalize the choice.
This news was also conveyed by Sudirman Said as Anies’ representative in the small team.

“Information to be known together is that on Wednesday Kliwon, March 15, 2023, presidential candidate Pak Anies has decided to assign a team of eight. This small team is to assist him in finalizing the choices of vice presidential candidates,” said Sudirman Said at the Secretariat of Change, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, quoted from Saura.com Friday (24/3/2023).
Previously, Sudirman Said said that the Coalition for Change had officially been formed. The formation was formed after the NasDem, PKS, and the Democratic Party agreed to sign a coalition charter.
“Today is a new milestone, namely the charter of the Coalition for Change has been signed. Later it will be displayed by the party leadership,” said Said.
He said that the signing of the charter was carried out directly by the general chairmen of the three parties that are part of the coalition.
“With this charter, formally, the three parties have unanimously nominated Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate,” said Sudirman.

Meanwhile, parties from NasDem, PKS, and also the Democratic Party have agreed to hand over the name of the vice presidential candidate to Anies Baswedan.
According to the Chairman of Bappilu DPP Democratic Party, Andi Arief, conveyed that in the declaration charter one of the points agreed upon and stated, namely, related to the cawapres.
“So now all the coalitions will no longer question who the cawapres is, because the cawapres is in Anies’ hands. Let’s just wait when he declares his cawapres,” said Andi Arief.
