There is good news for Xbox players, as Ghostwire: Tokyo already has a release date on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox Game Pass. Tango Gameworks is preparing a surprise, as the title will be released on these platforms with new content that will arrive for free with the Spider’s Thread update.

When will Ghostwire: Tokyo debut on Xbox?
Through its social networks, Bethesda confirmed that the title of the Japanese studio will be available on Xbox from April 12. From that day on, it can be enjoyed on Xbox Series X | S. In addition, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost.
The company revealed that the new content of the Spider’s Thread update will be released on the same day for all platforms. This implies that the news can also be enjoyed in the version for PlayStation 5 and PC.
What new content will Ghostwire: Tokyo receive?
The title will receive a new game mode that will challenge players to complete a 30-stage challenge with dozens of levels. The objective is to advance and reach the end of the challenge alive in one go, since losing will mean starting over from the beginning.
In addition, new locations to visit will be added, such as a school full of mystery and supernatural dangers. Likewise, an option will be enabled to reduce some horror and psychic effects, which will be ideal for those who do not love terror.
Tango will add new missions, more story scenes and more interaction between characters. As if that were not enough, there will be new abilities such as Counter-Attack, Quick Dodging, Ethereal Weaving, as well as more talismans. All this will serve to combat additional enemies.
Finally, the update will improve the title’s photo mode, which will now include more tools to capture spooky moments.
