Epic Games is preparing a very attractive novelty for Fortnite that will allow players to earn money. We are referring to the evolution of the Creative mode, which will debut very soon and which will allow users to monetize their creations.
This project goes by the name of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and will provide players with outstanding tools to create original content and share it with the community. Tim Sweeney, head of Epic, stated that they are working to build an entire economy around their Battle Royale, so those interested will have all the support to obtain the greatest number of profits for their creations.

You can design experiences for Fortnite and earn money
The Unreal Editor for Fortnite is a PC application that will be released on March 22. Players will be able to develop, design and publish games or experiences for the Battle Royale. For this they will have at their disposal tools from Unreal Engine 5 and Verse, a new programming language.
Epic promises that this package will offer “powerful customization capabilities” and everything you need to “easily create new game logic”. UEFN will arrive in Beta phase and is somewhat different from Unreal Engine 5, as it is specially designed to create experiences for Fortnite.
It will allow you to create animations, textures, audio and other custom content. The goal is for creators to monetize their high-quality content and make a profit without the need to make deals with Epic Games. For now, it has not been confirmed how monetization will work.
“We are building an economy. It will support creators who actually build businesses around their work and earn more from the commerce that comes from people playing their content,” Sweeney said.
UEFN will be available through the Epic Games Store and users will need to have Fortnite on their account in order to access the tool. This novelty will not replace the Creative mode that we all know, as it will coexist and share some of its tools.
The beginning of the future is built together.
