Leon Kennedy e Claire Redfield from the Resident Evil series have joined Fornite as new character skins, which players can purchase through the in-game item shop. The collaboration between Resident Evil and Fortnite began with the addition of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine and has now been expanded with new survivors from the horror series.
Leon Kennedy arrived in the item shop with his briefcase and his bling suit and his combat knife. Players can also equip Claire’s Keys, with her retro bling and Umbrella Parasol Pickaxe, colored red and white. Claire appears as in the remake of Resident Evil 2, with his red jacket paired with jeans. Cosmetic skins are sold as Scarlet Hero: Claire Redfield bundles in the item shop. Leon Kennedy, on the other hand, has the look of a veteran survivor rather than a rookie cop, wearing his tactical pants and belt with a combat knife on his shoulder.
Fortnite has had a number of partnerships with different franchises over the years, such as Dragon Ball, Stranger Things, Cobra Kai e Marvel. Recently, Eren Yeager from the Attack on Titan anime and Sam Wilson from Captain America made their debut in the hugely popular battle royale game. Fortnite also has an ongoing relationship with DC, which has brought characters like Aquaman, Batman Zero, and Green Arrow to the item shop and battle pass. Fortnite has expanded far beyond the shooter game with new team-ups at the start of each season.
With the launch of Chapter 4 Season 2, players have received a few original skins, including Mizuki, Highwire, Stray, and Mystique. The new season is themed in a futuristic neo-Tokyo and adds new vehicles, missions, rewards and a battle royale island. In the end, Epic Games confirmed the arrival of Unreal Editor for Fortnite, which allows gamers to create in-depth content thanks to a catalog of tools and workflows. It will be available exclusively for PC on March 22nd.
