Former gymnast Petra Witjes after acquittal Wevers: “Laughable”

The Royal Dutch Gymnastics Union (KNGU) strongly disagrees with the acquittal of gymnastics coach Vincent Wevers. De Oldenzaler was today acquitted of transgressive behavior on appeal. The union fears that it could have a ‘major negative effect’ on gymnasts who are victims of transgressive behaviour. Former gymnast Petra Witjes from Heino calls the acquittal ‘laughable’.
