Delio Rossi returns to Foggia. The Rossoneri president Nicola Canonico has convinced the Romagna coach to go back to his origins and will sit on the bench where he started almost 30 years ago from today until the end of the Serie C season. Rossi’s yes came after the meeting with the management in Naples. For him it is a return: he played six seasons in Foggia and coached the first team in Serie B in 1995-96, but previously, as mentioned, he had coached the Rossoneri’s Primavera team from 1991 to 1993. Rossi is the fourth coach on the bench of Foggia – sixth in the standings in group C of Serie C -4 from third place – this season after Roberto Boscaglia, Fabio Gallo and Mario Somma.
