The future of Yelena Belova? Florence Pugh talks about her next steps in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Black Widow.
Florence Pugh has news about her Marvel movie. In an interview with Total Film, the Hawkeye actress opened up for the first time about her return to play Yelena Belova in Thunderbolts. Pugh admitted that she couldn’t say too much. But she expressed her deep appreciation for being able to continue bringing the new Black Widow to life within the MCU plans.
“I don’t know how much to say about Thunderbolts really!” Florence Pugh admitted. “But I just want to say on this topic that I am incredibly grateful to be moving forward with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’m incredibly grateful to have had the original experience and to be able to re-enter that world with my old character.”

The Marvel Studios star enthusiastically declared that will work wonders in any script Screw it for Thunderbolts. “I don’t know much about what we’re shooting or what the plot is, but I’m very lucky to be in this position,” said Florence Pugh. “The family supports me a lot. Give me what they give me, I will act like a charm ”.
While Florence Pugh has remained tight-lipped about the Thunderbolts’ plans for her character, her co-star David Harbor has already teased what to expect, describing director Jake Schreier’s ideas for Yelena Belova as very interesting. “What director Jake Schreier wants to do with the character of Florence is very interesting and how I influence the development of our relationship, too. And then when you see what Jake and Eric Pearson are trying to create, it’s really clever… So you’ve got this movie that’s, you know, a little scruffy.” We will have to wait to find out.
