We have the first image of Harrison Ford in Marvel. New images from the set of Captain America: New World Order reveal a first look at the Indiana Jones actor in his MCU debut. Ford takes on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the upcoming Sentinel of Liberty film. And he does so after the sad passing of actor William Hurt.
Just Jared posted the leaked images. In them, one sees Harrison Ford wearing a dress shirt and tie on the set of Marvel Studios. This filming is taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. This comes shortly after filming on the Captain America: New World Order project began earlier this month. We are already having enough leaked images.
What can we expect from General Ross in ‘Captain America: New World Order’
Although it’s bittersweet to see another actor take on a role that fans had come to know and love during William Hurt’s years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s still exciting that an actor as legendary as Harrison Ford is going to pick up the torch left behind by Hurt as General Ross.

Not much is known yet about General Ross’ involvement in Captain America: New World Order. However, during the development and production of the new Sentinel of Freedom film without Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) some clues have appeared. Apparently, the character played by Harrison Ford at Marvel Studios will have a new role when Captain America: New World Order hits theaters next year, having left behind the role of US Secretary of Defense and become in the new American president.
