Denpasar Sound – The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, was also targeted by the public to express his disappointment because FIFA canceled Indonesia’s hosting of the U-20 World Cup.
It seems that not only the Governor, the social media of Ganjar Pranowo’s children and wife have also been attacked by netizens. Related to this, Ganjar also opened his voice to respond.
According to him, the number of netizens who attacked him and his family was already a risk that he had to accept as a political figure.
“Always, it’s part of the risk of a decision. And that’s okay,” said Ganjar Pranowo as quoted from Twitter @Metro_TV, Thursday (30/3/2023).

Even so, Ganjar Pranowo asked the public to stop attacking his family.
“But if you may, if you want to attack, attack Ganjar, don’t attack my wife, don’t attack my child,” he concluded.
Furthermore, Ganjar’s reaction apparently could not dampen the anger of netizens. Judging from the comments column, there are still many netizens who attack Ganjar because he is considered to be the reason FIFA canceled Indonesia from hosting the U-20 World Cup.
“The protest was before the submission of the host, not before the D-day. A lot of money had gone out, the hopes of the nation’s children were instantly destroyed. Hopefully no one will nominate you in the future,” commented @ElsaWiratama.
