Cow Tecmo has launched to Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse and is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It is a remaster of the 2008 Nintendo Wii game, which never left Japan, being a psychological horror title where players must survive facing evil ghosts.
Rogetsu Island will be the setting for the story with three girls, Ruka, Misaki and Madoka, who return years after a mysterious kidnapping incident. With their memories wiped and two other kidnapped victims dead, the trio investigate the island. A detective, Kirishima, also returns to the island in search of a serial killer. As in previous games, players have the Camera Obscura at hand to take on the dark spirits.
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse features improved visuals and controls along with Snap mode, which allows you to take photos with different characters and ghosts. You can read our review at this link.
