The controversy over the purchase of Activision only marks a pause in the consolidation phase of the industry characterized by large entities buying studios and publishers. Hence, rumors and speculation about the next move by companies are the order of the day and something like this recently happened with UNSEEN Studio relating it to PlayStation.

UNSEEN Studio denies being part of PlayStation Studios
In the context of the wave of acquisitions in the video game industry, many await the next purchase of Sony thinking that it must respond to the movements of Microsoft, Embracer, Tencent and NetEase. This week, information emerged that pointed to the union between UNSEEN Studio and PlayStation Studios for the publication of an action-adventure video game with a science fiction theme and supernatural elements.

However, the official UNSEEN Studio account put an end to the hype by pointing out that there is no relationship with PlayStation Studios and although they are flattered by it, they are currently an independent studio and are satisfied with that situation.
It should be remembered that UNSEEN Studio is the studio of Ikumi Nakamura, a creative who was part of Tango Gameworks and participated in The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2 and Ghostwire: Tokyo, in fact her presentation at E3 2019 became famous but some time later she left the Shinji Mimaki’s studio to make his own projects.
