A shocking news came from the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J which was horrendous some time ago. Because one of the perpetrators, Putri Candrawathi, reportedly died and left a final message.
This is as reported by the CENTRAL BERITA INDONESIA YouTube channel which has more than 82 thousand followers. The video claims Putri has died during her detention and will be buried in the same grave with her husband Ferdy Sambo.
“PC’s body will be buried in a grave with Ferdy Sambo according to PC’s message before he died,” that’s the title of the video, quoted on Friday (17/3/2023).
An even more shocking narrative appears on the cover of the video, showing a photo of Putri in a frame. Not only that, photos of President Joko Widodo, National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Judge Wahyu Iman Santoso were also seen.

The video owner narrates that Jokowi took part in burying Putri’s body. “President Jokowi was astonished when he witnessed the PC funeral process,” said the owner of the video.
“The punishment is real. Princess Candrawathi’s last request came true. She wanted to be buried in a grave with Ferdy Sambo, but suddenly Sambo’s grave emitted fire and a bad smell,” he added.
Of course this narrative is astounding, but what is the truth like?
EXPLANATION
After being listened to for a fact check, it was revealed that there was a discrepancy between the title, the narration on the cover, and the substance of the 4 minute 14 second video.

In fact, the video instead discusses an unusual moment at the trial of Putri Candrawathi, who incidentally is a Christian.
The narrator seems to be highlighting the moment when the Public Prosecutor (JPU) quotes a verse from the Koran about the consequences that must be faced by the perpetrators of the murder. But the narrator then quotes the same verse from the Bible.
But until the end of the video there is absolutely no discussion about Princess Candrawathi’s death until Trisha Eungelica’s mother’s last request to be put in the same grave with her husband, Ferdy Sambo.
There is also no valid information about Sambo’s grave, which is said to smell bad and emit fire as if being doomed.
Especially since it is known that Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi are currently undergoing legal proceedings against the decision received. It is known that Sambo was sentenced to death, while Putri was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
CONCLUSION
Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the viral video conveys incorrect information.
In fact, the video actually discusses the moment the prosecutor quoted the verses of the Koran and the Bible during Putri Candrawathi’s trial instead of her last request to be buried in the same grave with her husband, Ferdy Sambo.
Thus, this video can be categorized as a hoax.
