However, recently rumors circulated that President Jokowi dismissed Prabowo Subianto from his position as Defense Minister. The reason is because it is unethical and bad intentions.
This rumor circulated from uploading a video on the YouTube channel Politics Palace on Sunday (19/3/2023).
“Viral, Bad Intentions Revealed Jokowi Fires Prabowo from the Ministry of Defense,” read the title of the video, quoted on Tuesday (21/3/2023).

The cover of the video even contains a photo of the inauguration of Ministers by President Jokowi. And given the words “Recent Update, Dismiss Prabowo, Minister who is Unethical and Not Worth Defending.”
Fact Check
After conducting a search, it turned out that the video only showed a fragment of Prabowo Subianto’s words that flattered President Jokowi.
The rest of the video only shows edited video clips of Prabowo Subianto.
When narrating the video, the narrator only quotes Jokowi’s speeches which are completely inconsistent with the bombastic title and cover photo.
