A Youtube account called AGENDA POLITIK makes a video with a quite bombastic title.
“ANIES: LET GOD REPLY” was the title of the content, quoted on Wednesday (15/2/2023).
Meanwhile, in the thumbnail, there is a photo of Anies Baswedan wearing an orange vest. This photo is a dedit.

Then, the narration in the thumbnail reads:
“ANIES’ COALITION IS ANGRY AND JOKOWI’S THREATEN
ANIES BASWEDAN OFFICIALLY BECOME A SUSPECT OF FORMULA E CORRUPTION”.
Not only on this Youtube channel, news of Anies Baswedan being arrested was also circulating on Facebook on March 20 2023.
A Facebook account uploaded a video with the title “BREAKING NEWS MAHFUD MD SPEAKS LEGALLY TODAY ANIES BECOME A SUSPECT OF FORMULA E CORRUPTION”.
The 9-minute 45-second video shows a thumbnail image of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md giving a press statement.

There is also a photo of Anies Baswedan wearing a mask and wearing prison clothes.
This video was later linked to the news that Anies Baswedan was arrested for the Formula E corruption case.
“SAH!!! Determined Today, Anies Becomes a Suspect of Corruption in Formula E !!! —,” wrote a Facebook account.

But is this news true?
The information that Anies Baswedan was arrested for the Formula E corruption case is not true.
Based on monitoring from social media, Anies Baswedan is still active as usual.
Then a search on Google with the keywords “Anies Baswedan suspected of formula e corruption”, found no valid information from the mainstream media.
Meanwhile, in the nearly 10-minute video, no information was found about Anies being a suspect in Formula E corruption.
In fact, this video contains the issue of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs persuading President Joko Widodo to prevent Anies Baswedan from advancing in the 2024 presidential election.
