PRIVATE VOCATIONAL – Elementary school (SD) students who are victims of abuse by an office boy (OB) will be provided with assistance by the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) of Karawang Regency.
This was said directly by the Head of the Division of Prevention and Management of Violence against Women and Children (P2KPA) DP3A Karawang, Hesti Rahayu.
Hesti explained that his party would provide psychological assistance to 10 female students who were victims of lecherous behavior by the perpetrator with the initials ES (43).
“In accordance with our duties and functions, P2TP2A will provide assistance,” he said.

He also hoped that the children who were victims of this incident would not experience trauma and be fine psychologically.
“We will ensure that the children who experience this incident are not traumatized,” he said.
Previously, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Karawang Police, AKP Arief Bastomy, said that the perpetrators of sexual harassment against 10 elementary school (SD) students were threatened with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years in prison.
The perpetrator with the initials ES (43), who works as an office boy (OB) at the elementary school every day, was charged under Article 82 of RI Law No. 17 concerning Child Protection.
“The maximum penalty is 15 years in prison,” said Tomy, Monday, March 6, 2023.

He explained that this perpetrator claimed to be curious about the victims so he was determined to commit obscene acts against 10 elementary school students where he worked.
