SuaraCianjur.Id- The child of dangdut singer Lilis Karlina, RD, who is currently 15 years old, was arrested on suspicion of distributing psychotropics. RD started selling illicit goods a year ago.
Quoted from Suara.com, “Since he was 14 years old, he has become a dealer,” said Purwakarta Police Chief AKBP Edward Zulkarnain in a virtual interview, Tuesday (14/3/2023).
RD started distributing psychotropics because he was tempted by the huge profits offered in every transaction.
“At least one day this child gets a profit of Rp. 700 thousand. But on average per day it can be Rp. 1 to Rp. 2 million. Also, in one day, you can make a profit of up to Rp. 3 million,” explained Edward Zulkarnain.

Actually, Lilis Karlina has fulfilled RD’s daily needs such as pocket money and so on. However, environmental factors and the habit of consuming methamphetamine make RD expenses swell.
“According to the child’s statement, the parents’ pocket money is sufficient. But because they are already addicted and need to spend a lot, this child is motivated to find other additional income,” said Edward Zulkarnain.
RD was arrested in the Ciwareng area, Purwakarta on March 12 2023. From the results of the arrest, the police secured evidence in the form of 925 Hexymer pills, 740 Tramadol pills and 200 Trihexyphenidyl pills.
To investigators, RD admitted to getting the drugs through online transactions. He resells the drugs through direct transactions with buyers and online.
For his actions, RD was subject to Article 196 of Law no. 36 of 2009 concerning Health for allegedly distributing drugs without official permission. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.
