Dying Light 2 Stay Human will receive a major update on April 20 that it will improve the combat system and add the transmog option of the equipment. Techland’s franchise director Tymon Smektala shared this news during tonight’s presentation at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase.
Parkour combat is one of the title’s strengths, so it’s reassuring to hear Smektala say that this upcoming update will include significant improvements to the combat system to make it more brutal and rewarding. He also confirmed that you will no longer have to choose between a captivating style and stats since, thanks to the new system of trasmogrificazione, will allow us to transform the equipment to make it more suited to our style and look. But the news does not end there, as a preview of the second DLC was shown which adds new details on the plot and new missions to be tackled arriving later this year with two concept art. The first showed us an autumnal city with a church tower in the background, while the second hints at a new home for the Morlech Asylum. Among the many new features, another update is arriving in June, which adds a new and improved night experience, with flying patrols that will try to track us down, a feature much requested by fans of the title and there will also be improvements to parkour in general in a way to make it smoother and faster. The developers are working hard to support the title and also listen to the needs of the fans.
In the meantime, we remind you that the new update of Dying Light 2 Stay Human will launch on April 20 on all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. One is also under development cloud version for Nintendo Switchalthough we are not yet aware of an expected launch date from the development team.
