Disney Speedstorm, Disney’s Mario Kart-style kart game, now has a release date on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC! But don’t get too excited, because although it will be free, there will be a cost for early access. But don’t worry, Gameloft confirmed that Disney Speedstorm Early Access will debut on April 18 on all of the aforementioned platforms!
What’s impressive about Disney Speedstorm is that it will be cross-platform, cross-play and free to play, what a combo! The kart racing game will be available for download on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store).
Gameloft’s Aska Suzuki said: “We look forward to hearing feedback from our community and working together to create a game that reacts to players’ needs and desires as we plan to deliver an ever-evolving racing experience.”

Disney Speedstorm will be free, but not at the start
But here comes the interesting part: although the game will be free in its final version, its early access will be paid. In order to access the game before its official debut, you will need to purchase some of its Founder’s Packs, which cost between $29.99 and $69.99 USD.
