What preceded?
Last Wednesday, the council announced through alderman David Vermorken that the prestigious project ‘t Wooldrik in Borne, which would include sports, education and health, cannot go ahead. The verdict was too expensive and too risky for the municipal budget. Since then, education and sport no longer know where they stand. The Board wants to investigate three scenarios that can be developed as an alternative to ‘t Wooldrik.
Because what is certain is that Borne West must have a good school building and good indoor sports facilities. How to do that, that’s what the council met tonight.
