BUENOS AIRES – An Argentinian female influencer defied traditional female beauty standards by refusing to shave all her body hair for the past year.
Martina Diaz proudly shares photos of her hair-covered body on TikTok.
He is known to suffer from a rare syndrome that causes thick hair to grow all over his body and face.
“A year ago, I realized that I didn’t want to shave anymore,” he said, as quoted by The Mirror, Monday (13/3/2023).
“I was aware of all the suffering I was going through because of the fur, and I wondered what would happen if I let it grow,” he said.
“It strikes me that something exactly the same is so condemned in women and accepted in men,” he added.
This Argentinian woman has used her presence on TikTok to challenge the standard of hairless female beauty.
The influencer acknowledged the desire to break away from societal imposed beauty standards regarding women’s waxing.
“I started shaving regularly. After that, I went on social media and met a lot of people who inspired me. They told me about their experiences and I said, ‘No, this has to change,'” he explained.
