PURWOKERTO.SUARA.COM Bad results were obtained by Persib Bandung when they hosted Persik Kediri in front of their own supporters. In the match that was held at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, Wednesday (8/3/2023) this afternoon, Persib had to admit Persik Kediri’s superiority with a score of 0-2.
Al Hamra Hehanusa and Mohammad Khanafi succeeded in breaking through the walls of Maung Bandung’s defense. This result was a heavy blow for Persib in the struggle for the League 1 title this season.
Persib failed to reduce the gap with the leader of the standings, PSM Makassar, which is 10 points adrift. This defeat left Luis Milla’s team stuck in second place in the standings with 52 points from 27 matches.
After previously being able to make an unbeaten record with coach Luis Milla, Persib has now suffered successive defeats in their final two matches in the 2022/2023 League 1.

Meanwhile for the visitors, this victory made Persik move up one place to 15th place in the standings with a collection of 29 points from 28 matches.
The White Tigers managed to break into Persib’s defense in front of their own base in the 35th minute through the actions of defender Al Hamra Hehanussa.
The younger brother of Persib’s left-back, Rezaldi Hehanussa, scored a goal against Maung Bandung taking advantage of a corner kick.
Hamra headed perfectly in the corner from Renan Silva. Hamra’s goal brought Persik to close the first half with a 1-0 advantage over Persib.
At the end of the second half, precisely in the 89th minute, Persik added advantage. Taking advantage of a quick counter-attack which was ended by Mohammad Khanafi’s cold finish, Persik made the visiting team successful in sealing a 2-0 win.
