It’s been a little over a month since we’ve had SkyShowtime in Spain, a new streaming platform that hosts content from Paramount+, Peacock, Dreamworks, Showtime and Nickelodeon, among others.
Although there hasn’t been much new beyond the episodes of the leading series on duty, that has changed with the arrival of titles like Rabbit Hole, an original production of Paramount+ whose first two episodes have just premiered on the SkyShowtime catalog.
Made by Kiefer Sutherlandthis action thriller introduces us to John Weir, a private espionage operative and a true master of deception who, along with his team, is hired by rich people to dedicate himself to manipulating other rich people so that they lose money and benefit them. them in their business.
His tricky job means that John is always alert to everything around him and fogged up to levels that border on worrying, leading to a generally very lonely life.
However, despite his constant precautions, ends up being surprised by someone mysterious who tries to ruin John’s life using his same “unlawful methods”only taking them to the next level.
This will cause John to start a crusade to get out of the mess he has been put into without being sure who in his environment can be completely trusted or who among them can be involved in this intricate plot.

Trailer for Rabbit Hole, the new intrigue series with Kiefer Sutherland coming to SkyShowtime
Of course SkyShowtime has done very well to release two episodes at its premiere (starting next Friday it will be one episode per week), since the plot as such begins to interest from the final stages of the first episode.
This is common in (almost) all the pilot episodes of the series, since it is time to introduce the character and show the necessary elements to put ourselves in context for the events that are going to be narrated.
As you may have seen, we have been quite careful when talking about the events in which Sutherland’s character is involved, and it is because Rabbit Hole features multiple plot twists that will immediately have you hooked on the series as soon as you finish its first episode..
This is something that is especially noticeable in the closings of each episode (at least in these two chapters that we have been able to see from the serie), where they completely turn things you thought you already had clear and make you rack your brains again about what is really going on.
Although the cast of the series includes performers of the stature of Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, The Sandman, Mank), for the moment who stands out the most on screen is none other than Kiefer Sutherland (normal, on the other hand, since he is the protagonist.
Although many are well known for movies like Hidden Youth or The Three Musketeers, Kiefer Sutherland’s fame rose again on television following his iconic role as Jack Bauer in the series 24.
In Rabbit Hole we see a very comfortable Sutherland in his leading role in a thriller that mixes the action of 24 with the political intrigue of designated successoranother of the outstanding series of the actor.
However, there is a very big but that, unfortunately, the series is not to blame, since it is a problem caused by the SkyShowtime platform itself.
Since it started on February 28, SkyShowtime has presented various errors that have driven more than one user crazybeing one of the most commented the subtitles of the different contents in its catalogue.
And it is that, if you want to see something in the original version with subtitles, you can find poorly synchronized subtitles and grammatical errors in its text that make it difficult to read and take you completely out of the series.
Although from SkyShowtime they assured that they would remedy it as soon as possible, we have been surprised to see that in Rabbit Hole, a series that has landed new on the platform, it carries the same problems with subtitles as in the rest of its content.
Although they can still be read to a better or worse extent depending on the sequence, the main flaw comes for all those who prefer to watch the series and movies dubbed because, at the time of writing these lines, only the first episode of Rabbit Hole has the audio in Spanish and, although we reported this problem a few hours ago, it has not yet been solved.
By analyzing just two episodes of the series, you can barely reveal anything, since the plot has just begun as it says and having so many twists, we cannot specify too much so as not to gut anything. However, we can assure that if you are into good suspense, Rabbit Hole will catch you without hesitationdespite the drawbacks with SkyShowtime.
