After an irregular premiere of the Phase 5 from the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it seems that the problems within the House of Ideas continue to increase after an event that has surprised everyone.
According to several American media reports, the actor Jonathan Majorswho plays the villain Kang at UCM, he has been arrested in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York for allegedly assaulting and harassing a woman. According to the defendant, “the victim informed the police that she had been assaulted. The agents detained the 33-year-old man without incident. The victim suffered minor injuries to the head and neck and was taken to a hospital in the area in steady state”.
The charges and sentences Majors could face would be strangulation, assault and harassment. It has not been confirmed, but as our Espinof colleagues have reported, it seems that the victim was her partner and her attack came when she discovered that Jonathan was messaging another woman while he was with her; but we repeat, the latter is pure speculation and there is nothing confirmed.
After spending the night in the dungeon, Majors has been released even though they have enough evidence to keep him locked up for longer. If this turns out to be real, the crisis could hit Marvel and they will likely have to change actors if they want to keep their image clean. However, there have been other cases such as that of Ezra Miller with DC who, despite all the crimes he has caused, is still present as Barry Allen in The Flash.
