Bergamo prosecutor Antonio Chiappani explained this regarding the investigation that has just closed on the management of the pandemic and in particular on the theme of the ‘red zone’. There was an “insufficient risk assessment,” Chiappani added. “Our aim – he said – was to reconstruct what happened and to give an answer to the population of Bergamo who was affected in an incredible way, this was our aim, to evaluate if an accusation can be maintained as we evaluate to do precisely because of this insufficient risk assessment”.
