The animated series South Park launched a chapter with the help of artificial intelligence ChatGPT.
Specifically, it is about chapter 4 of season 26, which is called “Deep Learning”. And where the OpenAI AI co-wrote the script with Trey Parker, one of the main writers of the series. It is even mentioned in the end credits that it was “written by Trey Parker and ChatGPT”.
The plot of this episode is about the use of ChatGPT at the South Park school, as the students discover that the chatbot can do their homework for them. At the same time, Stan notices how popular Clyde is with girls, so he asks how he does it in order to find out how to reconcile with his girlfriend.
“ChatGPT, mate,” Clyde replied. “People use them to write poems, write job applications, but what they’re really good at is dealing with girls,” it reveals.
Stan is hesitant at first, but ends up using the AI to write romantic messages to his girlfriend, who is delighted without knowing that it is the chatbot.
As signaled Daily Mail, mostly the episode was written by Parker; however, the last few minutes are believed to have been the creation of ChatGPT, especially in the part where Stan’s girlfriend discovers that the messages he sent were generated by the AI.
Called ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a natural language processing tool, which makes use of artificial intelligence technology, to having the ability to answer questions much like a human would, as well as being able to help with tasks like writing emails, essays, and code.
This technology has caught the attention of more than one, because it is trained to learn what humans mean when they ask a question.
