There is a facet of Xavier Lopez “Chabelo”that some people do not know or perhaps do not remember, his career as a dubbing actor for Disneywith whom he worked on some animated films giving voice to various characters.
The presenter who passed away this past March 25, at the age of 88, not only had a long career in film and television, but also He worked in the world of dubbing, especially for children, to whom he dedicated most of his life in the medium.
The first time “Chabelo” received an invitation to work with this American company, was in 2005, in the film by “Chicken Little”where he gave the voice to the character of “Buck Gallo”.
For this tape, which can be seen on the Disney+ platform, three dubbings were made: two in Spanish, one with idioms and the other neutral for Latin America, in both it is the voice of the presenter that can be heard.
His second job came several years later, on the tape “Coco”who won the Academy Award for Best Animated Film and Best Song.

This was the last time that Xavier had an approach to children’s cinema, since in 2018 he did his last job as a film actor in the film “The Mongol Plot”later decided to retire from the stage for health reasons.
