This March 25, 2023, we learned the unfortunate news that Xavier López, better known as Chabelo, passed away at the age of 88. Chabelo, who was an actor, comedian, singer and host, is known for the TV program En Familia con Chabelo. This program aired every Sunday for 47 years.
The cause of death was due to complications in his health, specifically of an abdominal nature. The news was released by his family who published it on the actor’s social networks.

However, a curious fact is that indirectly, he had a role in the world of video games. As it turns out, one of their most iconic songs was included in Sumo Digital’s Little Big Planet 3 title back in 2014. The song in question is “Agujetas de Color de Rosa”, which was included on the game’s soundtrack as a named remaster and Lyrics in English, “Pink Shoeslaces”.
