At 10:24 a.m. last night, spring began. We start the season with a stable environment, without the rains that we so badly need and with temperatures in the afternoon that seem to be at the beginning of June. With this environment we will continue for the next few days, except in the north where the fronts will continue to arrive.
a fleeting front
Today the day has started with cloudy skies in the far north, which has hardly left any rain. In Galicia and Asturias the clouds are already leaving large clearings. In Cantabria and the Basque Country it will be in the afternoon when the cloudiness begins to leave. On the Mediterranean coasts, the possibility of the appearance of mists remains throughout the day, more likely during the early hours of the morning and at the end of the day. Cloudy skies are expected in the north of the islands with the highest relief in the Canary Archipelago. In the rest of the Peninsula the sun will predominate accompanied by high type clouds.
high cloud
Those high type clouds are the ones that have left a colorful first dawn of spring. And they will be responsible for leaving the skies matted, with frayed-looking and semi-transparent clouds. Its origin is natural, don’t worry. The only difference with the clouds “of a lifetime” is that they are made up of tiny ice crystals, instead of microscopic water droplets. Surely thanks to them, we also have a colorful sunset today.
More heat
Today we have a hot start to spring. With maximum temperatures higher than yesterday, which will rise slightly in the southern half and the center. Today we will reach 26th in Seville; 25th in the Region of Murcia; 24th in Badajoz, Zaragoza and Lleida; 22nd in Madrid, and 20th in Valladolid. They will only drop slightly on the Cantabrian coast with 16th expected in Santander and 17th in Gijón.
