It all begins with a disturbing prophecy.
When Catbeth and her friend Jacko are returning home, they come across three witch snakes, they tell the protagonist that he will be king. But for that he must pass over the current monarch and the lineage of his friend. For this reason, upon arriving at his castle, he draws up a plan with his wife to destroy the king. Although he succeeds, he makes many enemies and begins to see danger everywhere.
Therefore, upon receiving the long-awaited crown, he decides to send some rats to kill Jacko’s son, but they only kill the father, whose ghost appears to Catbeth. This causes everyone to begin to doubt that she is mentally well. The protagonist decides to visit the witch snakes again and they tell him that no one born from an animal can kill him, so he believes himself invincible and starts conflicts that end in wars. While his wife commits suicide because of the remorse caused by all the evil they have done for the throne.
The story of Catbeth ends in a great tragedy in the purest style William Shakespeare. Something that the comic of javi alfonso recreates very well, with brilliant and very funny moments.
