Negotiators had been in disagreement for months about salary increases and other collective agreements, but today they came to an agreement, says trade union FNV.
Salaries
Healthcare employees in hospitals will receive an additional 5 percent with retroactive effect from 1 February and then another 5 percent from 1 December. On 1 June 2024, the employees with the lowest wages will receive an additional 5 percent, employees in the higher scales will receive 2 percent plus 180 euros, employees who earn less will receive at least 150 euros.
Agreements have also been made about the travel allowance, which will go from 8 cents per kilometer to 16 cents per kilometer, and about the workload. For example, employees are given more control over their working hours, they are given the right to be unreachable and trainees are no longer deployed as part of the workforce, but as an extra.
The agreement in principle must now be presented to the members.
