The afternoon of this Thursday, March 9, was full of news about Capcom. In the broadcast, the Japanese company presented Capcom Town, a completely digital theme park that will open its doors this summer. It is expected to have a museum and other themed buildings, possibly based on legendary franchises like Street Fighter, Mega man, etc.
The purpose of this initiative is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Japanese company. Details are scarce, so we will have to wait for more information. In the meantime, it is already possible to register on the website to view the construction plans, although the link is down as of this writing.
If everything goes according to plan, fans will be able to visit Capcom Town on June 12, just days before E3 2023 opens its doors. Will the company be present at the gaming fair? Right now it’s hard to know.
During the last Capcom Spotlight, the demo of Resident Evil 4 Remake was confirmed, the release date of Exoprimal, the release window of the Ghost Trick remaster and a preview of Resident Evil: Death Island, the new animated film of the franchise. There was also news about Street Fighter 6, Mega man and Monster Hunter.
But tell us, did you like today’s broadcast? What do you think of the digital theme park? Let us read you in the comments.
