Blink-182 confirmed what many fans were already speculating: that they will not finally appear in Mexico on the dates previously established for April and March.
The concerts affected will be those of Mexico (Imperial GNP in Tijuana, CDMX Sports Palace and Tecate Pa’l Norte in Monterrey) and South America (Lollapalooza Brazil, Argentina and Chile; Stereo Picnic in Colombia, Lima, Peru and Asunción in Paraguay).
Through a statement, Tom DeLonge, lead singer of Blink-182, shared that this decision is the result of an accident suffered by Travis Baker, the band’s drummer.
He himself had a fracture in his fingers, underwent an operation, and will take several weeks to recover.
However, Tecate Pa’l Norte announced a new date for the band, which will be presented at the same festival until 2024.
