Beach volleyball players Stefan Boermans from Borne and Yorick de Groot have qualified for the second Elite 16 tournament of this year, in the Mexican city of Tepic. Boermans and De Groot won two matches in the qualification and therefore reached the main tournament. Leon Luini and Ruben Penninga got stuck in the first qualifying round.
