Tonight at ‘El Hormiguero’ we received a visit from Bárbara Rey, one of the women who marked a generation in our country. After the premiere of ‘Cristo y Rey’, the series that tells his story with Ángel Cristo, he premieres his new docuseries ‘Una vida Bárbara’.
The actress has acknowledged in ‘El Hormiguero’ that she is very proud of the result of ‘Cristo y Rey’: “I am very happy, the actors are wonderful and the series is complete to the facts.”
During her visit to the program, Bárbara Rey has recounted her complicated childhood, and that is that her mother did everything possible not to have her. A very hard childhood in which the actress has made her biggest confessions.
Pablo Motos has asked Bárbara Rey how she met King Juan Carlos I: “He called me on the phone,” he admitted. According to Barbara, she and Juan Carlos talked a lot on the phone before they met. In fact, Barbara has acknowledged that she would have liked that call to never have happened: “It made my life difficult,” she adds.
Barbara has opened up in ‘El Hormiguero’: “Everything happens for a reason, if it hadn’t happened now we would be talking about him, although I don’t think he would be very amused by this conversation, or maybe yes, he must be very bored there”, he has noted the actress.
Now, Bárbara Rey looks at the king with different eyes: “I think there are people who should be further away than he is, he has done things wrong, but he has also done things well,” he pointed out. “It is true that he is older now and we all know that genetically his family has had bone problems. I think he is happy and that he is fine in his head,” she adds in ‘El Hormiguero’.
