The kit consists of a 70 cc cylinder kit and accessories that allow racing performance on the engines of the Aprilia Rally, Malaguti F10, F12 and F15 and Yamaha Jog models.

Athena’s R&D team has managed to bring some of the innovative technical solutions (patent pending) to this kit as well, consisting of the thermal unit and corollary accessories which, together, will make it possible to obtain performances never achieved before.
Il Kit Cilindro big bore 47.6 mm for horizontal Yamaha-Minarelli engines is the most performing so far conceived of its kind.
The cylinder ducts are revolutionized by means of a new patent-pending fixing system to the crankcases with special dedicated bolts, replacing the normal studs. The exhaust ports are thus redesigned, for an increase in engine performance in terms of torque and power. The 1.5 mm protrusion of the cylinder head profile also allows perfect centering of the cylinder and further improved sealing capacity. Lastly, the Athena racing crankshaft, available in the versions with ø10 mm and ø12 mm piston pins, is forged in steel and has lightened shoulders with aluminum inserts, for improved balancing at every rpm.
Developed in collaboration with Selettra, the new variable advance ignition kit it features a high-capacity ECU for perfect management of the advance at all engine speeds, with two selectable racing mappings.

The exhaust system is studied in detail, from the pin with adjustable length, to the very light carbon terminal.
The kit is completed by components designed for the intake group, i.e. three air filters of different shapes, Racing carburettors (one ø24 mm with Powerjet system and one ø28 mm) and a Big Valve Kit for engine supercharging.
