President Andrés Manuel López Obrador estimated this Thursday that Mexico will grow in economic matters and ruled out that an economic and financial crisis will occur.
In a press conference, and when leading the ceremony for the change of Presidency of the Communication Council, López Obrador highlighted the arrival of important foreign investment and affirmed that it is resisting external factors such as inflation and the failure of banks abroad.
“We are already coming out of the crisis that precipitated the pandemic, The country is already advancing economically, it is growing, there is economic, financial stability. Mexico is one of the most attractive countries in the world for investment, A lot of foreign investment is arriving, the trade agreement helps us a lot and we estimate that there will be growth and we do not see an economic or financial crisis situation coming our way.”
“We are resisting, even, external factors such as inflation and some bankruptcies in foreign countries banks,” he said.
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador recognized this Thursday the social work carried out by the Communication Council in its information, orientation and awareness campaigns among the Mexican population; likewise, he recognized his work during the COVID pandemic.
“Thank you for what you did in very difficult times for our people, we faced the COVID pandemic in very difficult, sad circumstances and we all came together, and many lives were saved.
We had to lift the health system from the ground, we did not have specialists, we did not have medical equipment, we do not have medicines, fortunately we worked in the health sector, we have the support of the private sector in relation to health, we joined and I repeat, of course, we had the support of this Communication Council,” he said.
