The Spanish musician, Alejandro Sanz presents his new and surprising proposal in the form of a song: “Correcaminos”, in collaboration with the Venezuelan artist Danny Ocean, a song that was published today, March 24.
The singer-songwriters offer in “Correcaminos” an unexpected bet built on bases where pop, the urban and the southern air of Sanz converge. Composed by both artists, this new song reflects their natural connection, an impeccable theme where both present a new direction without fear and without restrictions.
This is a celebratory song, chords full of music that seem random and that impose a catchy rhythm claiming the music (Spanish and Latin), a hedonistic display of brilliant pop without restrictions. Produced by Alizz (Rosalía, C.tangana, Amaia) “Correcaminos” fIt is part of an EP consisting of three songs.
Regarding the new song, Alejandro Sanz expresses: “They call it work but ours is pure pleasure. Among the fetish musical misdeeds of my life, this one with Danny will be among my favorites. An artist with all the letters and all the possible exclamation marks. A Song Adventure in Recognition of the Road Runner that we both carry inside and that has brought us here. This is how Danny Ocean, who is currently on his world tour @DannOcean2023 Tour, describes this collaboration with Alejandro Sanz: “Alejandro Sanz is my favorite artist, imagine being able to collaborate with your favorite artist on a song that you co-wrote with him. It’s magic. I don’t know how to describe it honestly. Beyond all the musical and artistic environment, the fact of being able to personally share with Alejandro is an honor and a blessing.”
This release will be accompanied by a spectacular audiovisual production recorded in the desert landscapes of Mexico. The location was revealed by Alejandro Sanz and Danny Ocean a few weeks ago through social networks when they shared with their followers a photograph that captured a similar landscape in both cases. Since this publication, there have been many who have requested a collaboration between the two artists.
Alejandro Sanz is touring with “Sanz en Vivo”, the world tour that the artist is carrying out in 2023 with more than 40 dates already confirmed and that after exhausting all the locations of the 15 dates in Mexico, will continue his trip in April and May through Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay to return to Spain during the months of June, July and August.
A new show that has a spectacular audiovisual montage and a very personal staging, which give rise to concerts in which Alejandro Sanz, In addition to reviewing the greatest hits of his musical career such as “Corazón Partío”, “My friend” or “My favorite person”, he interprets some of the songs included in “SANZ”, his latest studio work.
