ROME, MARCH 12 – A new Alarm Phone tweet from a few minutes ago announces that the people in difficulty on the boat coming from Libya called the NGO again this morning. “More than 24 hours after our initial notification to the authorities, they are exhausted and still at sea, battling wind and severe weather conditions. We urge the authorities to coordinate a rescue as soon as possible and bring people to safety in Italy!”, writes the NGO created by a network of activists to alert rescuers at sea, about the boat adrift between the waves since yesterday in Central Mediterranean.
