Ajax has quite easily qualified for the semi-finals of the KNVB Cup. The losing finalist of last season settled in Doetinchem with De Graafschap, 3-0, the current number 13 of the Kitchen Champion Division.
Jorge Sánchez and Steven Bergwijn scored in the first 26 minutes of the game. Brian Brobbey determined the final score in the 79th minute. The draw for the semi-finals is scheduled for Saturday evening. Feyenoord, PSV and Spakenburg are the other semi-finalists.
Ajax started with seven other basic players than against Vitesse on Sunday. Dusan Tadic. Edson Álvarez, Devyne Rensch, Owen Wijndal, Steven Berghuis and goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli were rested. Kenneth Taylor had to serve a suspension. The 16-year-old Jorrel Hato made his debut as a basic player.
